In the recent “ECONOMIST” edition, the authors quiet bluntly reveal why the business model of Apple simply has an incredible advantage to Google – if Apple is successful, content creators benefit. If Google is successful, content creators regularly loose. That’s why I believe Apple may have better chances with a $400 device – they simply have less enemies than Google. If I am not completely wrong, the promise is rewarding: A functional, easy-to-use device that provides access to Music, Movies, Books and Magazines at HD-Quality to normal pricing and legal content availability on Top. The most impressive phrase on the Jobs presentation to me: 125 million credit cards stored, all ready to be charged with One-Click-Purchase….who is able to do this if not Apple? Google and Microsoft may have a lot of data – but Credit Cards to charge available upon their request – go Home! Read the full article here.
